Thread: The new cartridge that makes the most sense to me.

Funny thing,my mind was pondering a short reamed .270 just last night. So it could be a .308 case but .270 from shoulder forwards sort of deal... Or run 243 reamer then neck with .270. either use 7mm/08 dies with .277 expander ball or take X xmm off bum of std .270 dies then ream shoulder of them if necessary..why??? Well just because it would be a .277 and not the imposter .284 7mm/08. But the couple of grand to do this just isn't going to be "spare pocket change" any time soon.
