    New to the game

So I've bought some secondhand gear and am soon to reload at home. Have had the smallest bit of training but you have to start somewhere.

I have many questions and will try to research them my self rather than bothering you guys.

    Here's a simple one though.

Where do you guys get load data?

The guy is was working with loaded up some 108 scenar bullets(6.5grendel) with 29.5gr of all alliant varmint. I noticed he didn't check any data. He has used that bullet before for target but I just want to know how to check this stuff before reloading.

Also, hiwntdoes the acquisition of powders, primers etc work. Do you get sent via hunting fisting or something?

    Cheers in advance.

Reloading manuals, websites, software such as Quickload or Gordon's reloading tool.

You can buy load data per caliber in the Hornady app as well.

I have a Hornady manual, check the adi website and check with quickload.

This is a handy chart too

Cheers Hahn. That adi chart is good. Shame it doesn't have varmint on there which if what I've been using. Can't get it now so going to have to find another suitable powder. All good though. Isn't that half the fun lol

Get the Hornady Reloading manual on libgen as a pdf. Version 10 is on there. ADI website is ok too but only shows min/max. Hornady shows the in between

@Cowboy, google is undoubtedly your best friend. Use a jaundiced eye with American forums. The data obtained from powder or projectile brand will be provide a very good base to start.
Re powder and primer supply, any firearm related retailer, Whangarei's limited to one but they usually have a reasonable selection. Enjoy, fun it wil be.

    Greetings.
I mostly use ADI powders and previously used the Hodgdon on line data. My results with the 7mm-08 have been in line with Hodgdons but the CUP H4350 (AR2209) data needs to be viewed as unreliable due to the change in speed of AR2209 20 or so years back.
