Thread: Norma 7mmrem mag ammunition

Any one use the norma ammo in there rem mag with good results.
Here are a few options

160gr tipstrike
170gr ppdc (plastic tip)
170gr vukan

Have not dabbled with these myself but imagine they would be fairly good considering Norma's high standards

Have not used Norma ammo either , but the 165gr Bondstrike would be another good option , if ya can get it and not cheap , its got a good bc .632 or something.
I suspect you are like me mate and running out of options for factory ammo in your rem mag, i have got about 20 rounds of Sako ammo left which is plenty if just used for hunting but wont last long as i like to regularly check my zero and keep my eye in for those longer range shots.
looking at what is on the shelf at local stores i mite try some black box Winchester 150 gr Ballistic tip .

the vulcans have been around for ever and are great closer range round that hit like sledgehammer.
if its got Norma on the box it will be good......a certain fella from taranaki way has been in contact with Norma...they asked for his imput and got it for better or worse,apparently he pulled no punches with them and they asked for more of same imput,which can only be good thing going forward.
