    Nosler 165gr bt

    Hey team,

I'm wanting to start load development for the the first time.
I've been looking at projectile options, currently looking at the nosler 165gr bt, it's for a 308.
Am I on the right track or is the other options I should look into? Advice would be great.
As its abit daunting, as there are so many options
    Cheers bevan

The Nosler 150 BT is exceptional when fired from a 308

I use the 165 Bts in my short 308 exclusively. 16" barrel getting 2650 fps. Deadly on deer

After using Hornday 165gr bullets for many years, I'm now a convert 150gr Nosler BT after being convinced by @Hunty1 Accurate and great terminal performance on about 20 deer so far.

What load do you use for that? Just starting developing a new load for mine.

Yup 150BT is great in short 308. I've run H335 and now 2206H. Mine are flying at 2730fps out of 16" barrel. Have flirted with 165gr Speer SPBT as well but think the BT is better.

    I use 2206h at around 2800 fps, 19" barrel.

@Hunty1 what was your H335 load with 150’s? I’m working up a load with them at the moment.

Can get 150s alot easier than 165s. Mine are getting up towards 2900 from a 20" bbl and 2208. Yet to test on game but heard great things
