    Old Lee press....need help

Hey guys I bought an old Lee press on trademe and owner said it didn't have a primer attachment so I ordered one but now the press has arrived and it doesn't hsve the ability to use a less primer arm. Anyone know of any attachment for this Era press?

Grab a hand priming tool. Way better (more sensitive feedback) than the press attachments.

Yeah I think the press is going to be great, feels strong and smooth to operate. Have a lee hand press that I never used but looks like it will be used for its priming abilities now. Bit of a bugger

If you don't like hand jobs (priming off the press) you can go for a ram prime....Google it.

Tried to prime some on the press the other day because I didn't want to change my shell holder(only have 1 for 222) over but did 2 and thought no thanks. Chalk and cheese. Must get that 2nd shell holder

Have found a ram prime and die in my lee hand press box. Turns out they fit the press which is perfect. Just need to get my scales back and set up dies etc on sacrificial cases

photo of it set up would be good..... cant picture how it works ......lol the hand primer came with press and dies etc when bought whole shebang off a fella getting out of reloading (he was a 6-10 shots a year type of guy) so never saw need to use anything else for the job.

Ram primes are great. Excellent feel and accurate for depth. Use some Isopropyl Alcohol on a clean rag ccasionally to keep your fingers clean of oils to handle the primers into the priming cup. If you can find an old Lee Autoprime II they are similar and are even better as they have a tray feed that will work on your press.
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Lee Ram Prime is what i used to use on my old lee press. google it.
I still use it for brass with very tight pockets
If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.
