Had flown into Santiago many times ..and parts thereof…. Went for a look see tiki tour with a mate who retired the same week as me… he’s from Neuquen….. got roped into the job as they are having a hard time recruiting qualified types… part 135/91 ops…I reckon I can still do it,did the flight check ,can still hold a 1st class medical… WTF!!!.. the big Plus the shipping of my firearms and ammo is free ,no issues…. Well as a consequence of this thread as I sort out gear for a trip to the West Coast this week, my 1885 45-70 has snuck into the case with my Field's 450 no1 Express
So its USA vs Britian
The 450 no1 Express is BP and the 45-70 is nitro, but if I can get into open sight range of any deer I will see how they go ... only for science.
At this stage I favour the 45-70s chances best, because its the West Coast and the Field's is unlikely to be going anywhere if its wet
