Thread: Pet loads for the 7x57

Graham Henry wrote an article years ago (40) about the 7x57 - I think using a Hunter.
Anyway I distinctly remember him getting 2,800 fps with a 139 grn bullet using W760.

I have an old Nick Harvey hand loading manual here and he quotes a max charge of 50 grains of W760 for 2,900 fps from a Brno ZK. Sounds pretty warm to me, as a lot of Harvey's loads seem to be.
Treat as a guideline and not a rule.
