    Powder for 7 08

Going to help a mate reload. Whats a good ADI powder for an 18" 708?
    Be using 140 grain pills

Not ADI but its easy to get, BLC2 works well in shorter barrels. You would get close to 2800 fps. I do with my 20".

2208 is a great choice,in a 24"barrel 43.6gr 139 interlock @ 2750fps, bit pedestrian and can achieve speed up to 2900fps/45gr but really accurate in my rifle. I presume ADI powder is available RE 15 works pretty good as well.
    Cheers.

    RL15 also works well.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

    I'm using 2208. 19" barrel on my 708.

No idea of speed - never had the use of a chrony - but shoot 43 grains in R-P brass behind a 139gr Interlock. Seems to group okay - 3 under an inch at 100 metres - I'm not a great shot but can do this regularly. I also reload the 120gr Nosler ballistic tip - exactly the same powder load (because I'm lazy?? ) and it groups just as well if not better. It does shoot to a different POI (about 6 inches at 100m) but I know what the scope changes are....so not too bad to change between loads and only need to poke a couple down the tube to verify all's okay.

Just loaded him up the test loads last night. 2208 with various charge weights behind 140 Nos BTs R-P brass too from memory
