    Primers

I've been using CCI BR2 primers and I'm about to run out. It seems most places are out of stock or almost out so I'm thinking I might have to switch primers. Has anyone got any experience with the Federal LR Match primers (210M?) Is there much of a difference in consistency and ES SD when using them? The CCIs seem like they have quite a hard cup and I don't get a lot of flattening of the primer. The Feds are also a heck of a lot cheaper than the CCI BR2s. My other option would be CCI200s.

    Thanks

The ES with 210m is great when you run the right powder for the case!

I think you'll find that these are getting hard to get as well, So I'd suggest you buy a minimum of 12months worth of whatever you decide on. I use them for 1000 yd 308 target shooting, if ppl think there are better Im all ears.

You might be right. Might need to do some searching. Thanks for the replies.

Been around a fair few shops in the last week. No small pistol primers to be seen, small rifle nearly all gone, large pistol low quantities, large rifle still a bit on the shelf. Shortage could be for a while, I would be lucky to have 6 months worth of the most used primers.

Its not only primers, projectiles cases and live ammo is all being affected by the mass buying in the states

Apparently Federal shipments are gone as they land. Might have to try get hold of 1000 to make sure I have enough until supply is increased.

And that is why there is none around people doing exactly that.
