    Quickload help for 7x64?

Hey all, what’s needed for a Quickload estimate, do we throw in some numbers using R17 @55 grains behind a 162 Eldx in 7x64. Or do we need the COAL. I have an overall length of 90.73mm with Norma brass and 162 Eldx.

7x64 = 65.0 H2o case capacity according to the net.

In order to get it proper close you really need to know the capacity of water that your particular cases hold. (place case on scale. Zero it. Fill it up with water & measure again)

You can get a decent idea of whats going on with just a COAL though.

You don't mention barrel length which is pretty important but most 7x64's should be running 24" at least (mine is) for R17 55.0 is max for 2908fps at 60,000 psi. My 7x64 shoots any 160/162 grain projectile with outstanding accuracy with 53.8 of AR2209 at a smidge over 2800. You can get a bit more velocity than that with ar2209 but in my rifle the accuracy reduced
