40 gr vmax, with around 27 grains of Winchester 748 (I don't have the exact weight of powder but a few years later I discovered that Craig boddington was using exactly the same load for his 204 :-)

dont quote me cause i cant be sure of the exact powder charge but im running 32gr blitzkings in front of 28gr? of 2206H in a winchester case with a winchester small primer.

When i first started i was getting 1/2 min out to 250m but the groups seemed to open up proportionately after that. im now about 3000 to 4000 shots through it and its opened up to always under a min, some times down to 1/2 min. Weak in the wind tho with the tiny flat based bullets.

I used Win 748 and sierra 39gr BK in a CZ I had and use the same powder and Hornady 32gr Z-max (because they were cheap) in my Rem700. All in Winchester brass which was very prone to neck splits even after a couple of firings. Since I stared annealling no more split necks.

Sounds like people are still having fun with 204s.
I currently use 45gr Hornady projectiles with 23.5g of ADI 2219 powder.
I was reloading 40gr with same amount of powder and getting on average 3670 through the crono.
Must best shot was a goat at about 150 meters centre mass it didn't know what hit it. Great little bunny, goat, possum buster.
I also use a suppressor on my 204 as well, a nice carbon fibre one.
