Yeah 1 shot lader has always worked. Sounds mad but I would do 1 grain increments. Start lower.
Provided your seating depth and powder suits then you will find that your laser test will probably shoot a really good group until you decide that that is plenty of velocity or you get a flier. That's the time to stop as they don't find preasure as normally expected with the brass
