    Roll crimping shotgun shells

Have an old English 12ga here with 2.5 inch chambers its Damascus steel but its nitro proof
Ive been reloading for it by cutting the crimp off a 2-3/4 shell loading the shell with black powder an over powder card cork wad and1oz shot and an overshot card glued in with 50/50 pva and water

Or just shooting falcon cowboy which is a light nitro 2.5 load for about $13 a box

But as i am a black powder shooter I mostly shoot black powder
And I have been looking for a while for a roll crimping setup here in nz but hard pressed

Any ideas on where to get the gear
    Cheers

Ballistic products, Makes them, also precision reloading in the USA, I likely have a 12ga one, as was fiddling about with slugs for a while, sure I bought a set, know I got 16, 20 ga.
    E-bay might be an option.

you could go other way and trim 2 3/4" shell down and star crimp it using old style whackamole loader..... you can roll crimp using that set up too. heaps of info on duckhuntingchat forum on shotgun reloading.

Get a hold of Jeff brown at Beaver Grease he is bringing in the Ballistic Products, ive purchased the Roll Crimping Tools, spin doctor, the trim doctors, load of clear overshot disks and overshot card from him. Jeff has been working on a stack of black powder loads and has a great range of wads and he really knows his stuff!
