    rotary tumbler and SS media

Think I have put off getting one for long enough, and need to clean up all my AR15 223 brass so I can re-use them in my bolt guns without making them feel dirty and ashamed!.

The Lyman, Franklin, Hornardy are all around us$100-200, and the cheapest of these start at over NZ$450 so I aint buying one locally!

Chiness 5kg ones seem to go for around nz$200 including postage.

What has everyone got and how happy are you with it?

Care to explain how you circumvented the "Shipping to USA ONLY" criteria posted in the top right hand corner of the link?

I have a Frankford Arsenal wet tumbler. Love it. Have cleaned tens of thousands of pieces of brass, works great. Sometimes I use the stainless pins, sometimes not. I use distilled water, a splash of Hornady case cleaning solution, a splash of citric acid and about 2 hours whirring around. Brass looks like new.

If so landed price more like NZ$350 and listing it as 'FIREARMS" AS NEAREST PRODUCT TYPE, to get customs etc, , no GST ot custom tax....But Listing it asFfIREARM" wonder if that would slow it down.. Couldnt find any listing for "Jewellery polisher'

    Ahhhhhhh.

Thank you my friend. As my "rocks have not been tumbled " for some time, I have strayed from the righteous path, but mine eyes and wallet have now been opened.

So after a morning of practice on the driven boat range.... now I’m out of ammo
It was raining and muddy plus I needed to clean this lot up.
Now I don’t have a wet tumbler, but I do have stainless steel pins cause I was going to buy one.....but I did have this big hexagonal plastic container himmm
So 15 minutes later and after a stole one of my old home saws plus a bit of duck tape... one broom stick one Vice one drill one battery on full charge and one cable tie
Some vinegar some dish washing liquid and hey presto
