+1 Well done for getting a response out of him - better than I achieved a couple of years ago from the man.

As an aside this http://www.jbmballistics.com/ballist...culators.shtml is a PC available ballistics calculator which is probably the best around bar none. Obviously not portable but I wouldn't rely on my electronic device out in the sticks. Prefer to generate hard drop charts which don't die/have batteries go flat/if laminated can go for a swim (mm maybe the rile won't like it though).
