Thread: Sighting a 223 for longer shots

    Sight it in at 50yds with a scope height of 2.5 inches that will give you a 200 yard "second zero" with a trajectory peak of 1.5 inches at around 150. Maximum point blank range is 250 with a bullet drop of 3 inches. It's always worked for me.
