What do ppl like for ease of use tools?
I am thinking
RCBS Primer Pocket Swager Bench Tool at $200.
or,
Primer Pocket Swager Tool - 2 at $85.
unless there is something a bit cheaper but just as or more useable (even if it is a bit more $s)?

just use a chamfer tool to cut the crimp, ive done it many times, also works for mil staked primers.
best way is to chuck the tool in a lathe, and bring the brass to the tool, very quick process.
Sadly I Dont have a lathe at the moment, its on my list of "to buy one day when I figure out where to put one"
Pop the tool in an electric drill, clamp the drill in a vice, lock the drill on, pretend it's a lathe
I use one of these,I have used it heaps I have decrimped literally a couple of thousand odd, very quick to set up an easy to use on your existing Press.
Gunworks Ltd - Primer Pocket Swager Tool - 2 ** sold out **
Gunworks are ridiculously easy to deal with too. I ordered a case length gauge this morning, they've clarified the calibre I was after and put it on a courier already. There's no fucking around down there haha
True and I like dealing with them but their prices can be a little high. So I have ordered my Lee 223 ultimate die set ($80 v $100) from reloaders this morning and a quick trim ($20 v $25), already couriered. Ditto Workshop Innovations as I wanted a Wilson SAMMI gauge ($48, ouchie!). And retail outlets moan about the on-liners, yeah right.
Dump it into the hopper, turn the switch on and it comes out all done :)
The hand reamer is easy enough to use.
I'd advise against chucking the bit in a drill the holding the cases over it. Can't hold over the top perfectly and you end up with a tapered primer pocket entry and gas escapes
I think I have a RCBS swage set that's been used once if you want to buy
I think he has a vid on youtube?
I have ordered one, hopefully it arrives today, + an RCBS 223 holder as the Lee ones seems badly made ie loose.
