@Bueller very good very close to the remington coreloct
Which they discontinued as a component a few years ago
I used the 120 coreloct aka flying brick heaps

These gold dots have a far better bc than the coreloct
But very similar in Terminal performance

Exit hole down hill shot so entrance was central shoulder but exited low hitting the joint between the sholder and the femour
Absolutely destroyed it as you can see

Cheers, can't argue with that...what distances would you reckon they're good for?

That particular shot was on a fellow yearling about 100m

Shot about 5-6 deer with them now and all of them have been awsome as far as bullet performance goes
Not quite as Devastating as the photo but that’s a Special case as om pretty sure it was the bone fragmentS that done all that
    Pretty nasty

Normal Performance is a very quick kill with about a 1” exit hole
They generally fall over instantly if i do my bit
Or never more than 30m away if I miss the mark slightly

As far as distance goes ive only ever shot them to 200 on game (lack of opportunities at longer) I geuss that’s a good thing eh
But looking at numbers they will be fine to 400 Possibly a bit further they are a bonded bullet and take a bit more speed to open up
Than say an amax or something
It’s not a matter if being able to hit the target these are very accurate bullets
But you have to make sure you have enough Energy to make them mushroom

I've got a 100 pack of the 62gr in .224 coming. I wouldn't normally go with bonded bullets in .224 as its usually just a varminting rifle. But sometimes it gets used for goats and specifically when I want to recover meat from little ones.

So I did some more reading and found some reference to amazing mushrooms and stone cold killing performance... check this out! This is a screenshot from Johnny's Reloading Bench after a ballistic gel test.

Far out! That's what I call a pretty little shroom. So when I want a clean kill without lots of fragmentary damage, this looks like it could be just the ticket.

Will be interesting to see if it goes ok in the Tikka 1:12" twist, gut feel is it will be marginal, but I know it will be fine in the CZ 1:9" twist. I can't find any bullet length data for these yet.
Yes good-looking mushrooms but what was the impact velocity if he wasn't hitting those gel blocks at 2 to 300 yards what's the point

    I have tried 140gn in 6.5 at about 3000fps..
Terminal about par with a sierra 130 TGK which is very slightly harder than an 143 eldx
