Im sure they will shoot better with a dacron filler holding them down still. Trailboss is the all time great and safe but sometimes not so accurate or so i have heard. Shoots well for me.
Fast pistol powders (2205 etc) with a filler have been my main stay for sub loads
I experimented with fillers, I didn't see any improvement in accuracy but I did notice my suppressors catching some of the fillers.

The 223 load is not as accurate as 22lr but its easily enough to headshoog a possum at 25m.

I have this on my workbench from testing 38spl in a block of wood at 25m.
No filler and it was stacking them nice and tight

100% case fill in 2219 will very likely give you overpressure.

please refer to ADI load data

I wouldn't recommend fillers, not for the sort of powders being recommended, and definitely not if a suppressor is being used. Also with reduced laods you are not aiming for 100% case full - quite the opposite with subsonic loads!

I think I have found the practical limits for light loads myself - in the 6mm, shooting a 30gr projectile, I was getting inconsistent velocities around the 700 fps mark, with 1.8gn of powder. Turned out was getting incomplete burn, as I discovered when I got a few grains of powder coming out tapping the case on the end. Not a problem with heavier projectiles with a bit more powder. I think it was a case of the "stopper" leaving the bottle a bit too quick...

308 pretty forgiving, I've had good results with 90gn XTP (around 4.5gn of powder, thumbnail sized groups at 50m) up to 190gn. Could go heavier in the 1:8 twist, but haven't tried properly yet.

Ive used titegroup in 300wsm for subsonic loads with 190gr subx bullets. It was 9.5gr of titegroup with a magnum primer for around 1000fps. Also used it for 300blk I think it was about 5.4gr for the 190gr subx. Theres lots of titegroup published data for 308 and quite a few other cals on the Hodgon reloading website. Just click the subsonic tab. You can use 2206h for 308 subsonic as well (H4895) theres data on both adi website and Hodgon for that. 2206h is currently available in South Island.

Hodgon have load data for big cases like 308, 45-70, 30-06 and 458 SOCOM for Titegroup, so small case fill does not seem to be a problem. I see theres load data for 44 Remington Magnum Pistol for various subsonic loads using Titegroup. I dont know if 44 Mag Pistol and 44 Mag Rifle are different? Hodgon list them as being different. Hodgon list 44 Mag - Rifle using Clays powder for subsonic loads, which I think is similar in speed to Titegroup.

I just picked up some 190gr sub-x and some titegroup. Around what grains did you find the best results

Case capacity makes a big difference so if you and Warthog aren't using the same brass, it's irrelevant. I did a load with 205gr bullets and had to drop over half a grain to get it down to 1050fps.

Just use Hodgdon's specified amount as a starting point and work down until you hit your desired speed. It only takes a few rounds to figure out.

Anything equivalent to 2206h or faster can usually be used. Just look for the data and check out equivalents.

Just don't double load, super important.

A bit more bang is better.

If you want to give 2219 or 2207 a go, I can help you out with a bit to try, whatever quantity you like at whatever the current going rate per kg is at Gunworks, they are both powders I use regularly, so I tend to keep a kg bottle on hand...

Also, I could spare a 1/2lb tin of Nobel No.78, a fast shotgun powder. I picked some tins of it up a little while ago after my AS50n supply ran low, and given I'm only loading 2-8gn per cartridge, I've got more than enough to last awhile - say $40 if you want it?
    Great advice.
