    What happens to factory brass on first firing ?

    What dimensions would you typically expect to see increase/decrease ? And why ?

    Today I fired some new Peterson brass in 6.5 Creedmoor.

    Case length : decreased from 1.912 to 1.908
    Shoulder datum : increased from 1.553 to 1.560
    Web/Base diameter : increased from 0.467 to 0.470

    Curious to hear your thoughts and theories
