Ladder test starting at 66 and going to 69.

First four fired consecutively followed by a 15min break then last 3

Forgot my tripod so couldn't setup chrono unfortunately...

Any one got a Labradar???

So should I just load maybe 5 at 68.0, 68.5 and 69 and see what groups the best??

I wouldn't be shooting that load in that calibre that would 10 grains over max. (Edit) ah I see on the pic it's 59 not 69 grains

Yes it's slightly over max

Yep do the next round of testing at 300 or 400 yards, so it will show up the differences better.

Using a chrony to see the ES of the velocity is great too, some precision shooters will go with the load that gives the lowest ES rather than the load that groups best at 100 yards, as they say the load that gives the lower ES will group better out at long range due to less vertical variance.

Just load 3 of each it's hard to shoot good 5 shot groups, do that when you have a load that the gun likes then shoot a minimum of 5 5 shot groups to verify the load,
you should find a load with 15 bullets,

Make sure you do your bases up :XD: :D don't do a Gibo ;)
