    Winchester 55gr Soft Point

Does anyone know what the projectile is that Winchester load in their factory 22-250 and 223 super x ammunition? Is it one of their own projectiles?
Just having a play with 22-250 at the moment and have a few old factory super x rounds and it's shooting ragged holes with them. Was hoping to maybe duplicate the load as an option for fallow

Can almost guarantee that will be their 'powerpoint' Ryan. They dont sell them for reloading. I have tried Hornady as a substitute but they are too soft. The 130 Powerpoint is a fantastic 270 load

Used to be able to buy bulk bags of 500 Winny own brand a few years ago. Think Richard Wilhelm had some once upon a time.

I got some 64 grain one through Wilhelm some time ago. I don't even know if he is still trading. It may pay to speak to kilwell the nz agents, they bring in quite a lot of stuff you never see advertised.

Yes its there own projectile. Its pretty soft and easily substitutable with a 55 gn Speer or Hornady SP in my experience.
