Thread: Winchester (USA) 22 40 gr subsonic vs Winchester (Aus ) 40gr Subsonic

Good write up and some interesting information.
I probably went through 5 - 6 k of the USA 40gr subsonic last year and really rate it. Out of a 10/22 , cycles well and has good performance on rabbits .
I used a lot of the CCI subsonic stuff years ago and really found that was great stuff also.

Maybe for target / group work one will be better than the other but for hunting both perform well and do what they are designed for and the rabbits don't seem to know the difference.
You are right about the USA stuff in the fact there is the odd round that creeps over the sound barrier so quality control may not be as good as it could be.
