CCI subs through my CZ455 seem to work the best. Ok, they always pass right through an animal, but I know where they are going to shoot so I can place shots with more confidence.
I ran a bunch brands of .22lr subs over a chrony, and group tested them. The Eley match ammo was the most consistent (no surprise there), followed by the CCI, winchester, remington.
I'll add the details when I find the post.
The CCI when sorted by rim thickness, pretty much matched the Eley. Shame it's such a tedious process.
What I did find is that the barrel shot a lot better after about 200 rounds through it.
