I have visited DOC approved small game hunting block in Takepo before this covid, but did `t find any rabbits or carcasses. Any places, guys, mates could recommend in south? Yeah, I know hunting HQ and I do`t care about paying. But, I just do `t want the feeling of buying a game. (Fishing & Game is another case, like duck shooting or fresh water fishing, slalom fishing).
