No gun photo is complete without a couple sneeky toes peaking in there...

Nice looking rifle, should be a good shooter. Are they a fast or slow twist barrel?

I have one of those Boyds thumbhole stocks sitting here inletted for a Ruger 77/22 that I must get finished off... How do you find the distance between the thumbhole and trigger? I have taken quite a bit out of the thumbhole to shorten the gap, and also have to add a couple spacers in between the recoil pad and the stock to increase the length of pull a bit
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

My hands must be the same as Mr average,I've had 3 Boyd thumbholes now(sold 1)and the fit is good but needs a spacer in front of the pad.I put a Rem aftermarket pad on the 7mil08 and a piece of white nylon cuttingboard from Briscos as a spacer.
unfortunately the rail that came with it is a long action and I stole the screws from the Farrel 20moa 2 piece I have. The screws that came with the LA arn't long enough

1:12. I only want to use 55grn but have some older Lapua 50 grn sp for any dumb donkeys.I won't be carrying it far

Nice rifle, looks the part. I have never used a thumbhole stock, looks comfortable.

What Sightron scope are you going to get? I see Opticszone has some reasonably priced ones.

more woes,The rail in the pic is a REM 700 supposed to fit the howa?
After bore sighting off the back deck it only had 6 moa of up left so the 20 moa has to go on.The local H&F had about 20 screws (most 2nd hand)and none the right length, told me I was screwed, ha ha fn ha.
Intrnet to the rescue.Ken Farrell sent 4 torx 6-48 for the mounts I have NZ $11,here yesterday but no time to put together yet

I thought only long action 700 1-piece rails fit long action Howas.

2-piece fit the short actions but not 1-piece.
