    well since it is obviously carrying a 308 and has dropped a live round its bigger than your average possum. maybe a wallaby as it might be loosing rounds as it hops?

    @Phil_H I would say possum....

    Have a look at the link above. If you scroll down and look at the photos of droppings the last 3 photos all somewhat resemble the photo you have taken (particularly the third to last one)

    I take it you're probably not likely to be happy if it IS wallaby (althought it does look a bit like that). Should be easy to confirm though, yeah?

    Looks exactly like big possum to me, I'm not familiar with wallaby crap though.

    Best you get the spotlight out and see what's around!

    We have lots of small ones around here rooting up the paddocks and I have to admit there is the absence of pig-poo in the traditional sense that I know it.....i.e. larger and more like golf balls.
    Poo from small pigs has crossed my mind, though then again, it could be some really big arsed possums.....we have plenty of those around here as well, though that would be one hell of a poo for a possum I would have thought.

    That looks the most convincing I have to admit. The only things that give me a moment for pause is we also have a lot of small pigs here and little evidence of there poo, in the traditional form at least. That said, I am not familiar with small pig poo, only the big buggers in the bush.

    In the absence of other evidence I am more inclined to think big arsed possums.

    Cheers

    I'm going with possums and not wallaby. There is too many of these scattered around the farm for them to be wallaby without seeing other sign of them. Possums...??? We have truck loads.

    Cheers
    Phil
