    Possum popping

    Got invited out last night for a bit of possum hunting with the lad who lives local and what a great night. Never got the opportunity to do something like this comming from the UK , barely knew what a possum was.

    Bowled over by the community here , was lent a little .22 as I didn’t have one and we were collecting fur, got some good insight and knowledge and got out there and learnt a bit , it’s what it’s all about aye.

    U wanna see what my dog does to them! So now when out lookin, the rule is head shots only. That way the poosum is ded when it hits the ground, and the dogs eyes are safe.

    our neighbor keeps several pet possums, She lets them out at night. funny we know where they are in our garden about 2 seconds after our dogs go out for a wee,
    Point the possum and if I am not quick enough to pick it up it will be toast.
    Never thought having a possum run up my arm would be so bloody funny
    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
