Recently I was stoked to get access to a Station in the Tekapo area to do some rabbit control. I loaded over 300 rounds of 17 hornet for the arvo. A bit of an overkill lol. We did shoot about 120 furries from 3 shooting positions. I took video footage from two spots, unfortunately the first spot was the most spectacular scenery with no footage taken :(
Hopefully we did a good enough job that we’ll get an invitation back. Was so much fun :)
Target rich environment alright.
Nice job. Farmer will be happy - so will the hawks for a week or so.
They did request that we left the carcasses for the hawks. A healthy hawk population helps I guess but what they really need is a miracle.Quote:

when the apple harvest is completed and I can get my 17 Hornet back into the orchard, the first time back in there each year is awesome, bunnies everywhere that have had no pressure on them ;-)
