Once the dogs sprint around the corner and end up stacked in a pile of turds on whatever is blocking the way behind the object you'll hear a magpie laughing it's tits off... Sneaky bastards.
Er.... no chance. Two Staffordshire Bull Terriers with an extremely high prey drive vs. one "smart" magpie that's had it's wings clipped? Only one outcome there.

The bird has gone to a far safer home. It's name is Decoy and it will have a role to fulfill in due course. It's being raised in an aviary so the conditions are far better than I can offer.

Evil bastards if you are trying to reintroduce the more timid native birds. They are very territorial.
