About LinkBacksI burned out 3 barrels on my 22.250 (mostly with 55gr Vmax), then went to 6XC using 87gr Vmax. What a fantastic combo - Norma brass loaded from the bag gave 1/2 minute on the first load I tried, so no development required past there. Deer from 15 to 460 yards, magpies, rabbits and plovers all bowed down to the mighty XC.
Like an idiot, I sold it, and now use a .223 with 75gr Amaxes. That works too.
