About LinkBacksI used a .22LR for years on bunnies and was quite happy with it until my mate came out with his .17HMR and cleaned me up. Whereas my subs were running out of energy and accuracy inside 100m his HMR was quite happy out to about 130m, taking no prisoners. After a few days of getting my ass kicked I decided there was only one thing to do - go bigger. The .223 takes no prisoners and I'm loving those long range shots out to 200m. But I admit the HMR is awesome on soft-skinned game like rabbits. Impressively deadly.
