$56.10 for a bread bag full of possom fluff.Power was out at the factory cause of the wind.So they couldn't weigh my fur.Had my trusty fishing scales in the car so I got a sale. These scales are just as good as my rangefinder.:D

Fun morning out yesterday, about 45 total shot but some couldn't be recovered. At least another 30 to go on the property. Some of them were the biggest Turkey's I've ever shot! Definitely the right tool for the job, first one of each mob was an easy shot then the mob jumped and ran requiring rapid follow up shots on the run. Great fun.

Chunky feral tomcat at home this evening.
I'd missed a shot at him in my neighbour's QEII covenant a few weeks ago. Very happy to remove him from the environment.

12x wallabies for the weekend, in a South Canterbury PCL reserve that allows hunting off-peak hikers season.
They have eaten all the forest floor leaving only vines and the odd fern, so need a regular cull.
Pretty much walked the tracks, sidling out on to the odd game trail and checking any clearings.
Shots were from 3m to 15m at best. 4x power setting on the scope was too much at times.
50gr Vmax in the 223 did the biz.
