Anyone thinking of heading to the Arthur's pass area for a hunt should probably think about heading elsewhere.
For the past two days, whilst working above the rock shelter, we've been rained on by pellets so the chamois population will be taking a direct hit!
Not happy.

and the sad thing is arerial drops of 1080 are only going to increase.
And another dose of dead native wild life?
They had a guy walking down the road picking up the pellets that had fallen onto it.
Picked up a few ourselves that the Kea hadn't noticed, but would think that the 16 tons of the stuff that the guy said they were dropping will wipe out everything in the area?
Why Arthur's pass :( ....

They're going the Catlins at the moment too, that'll be stuffed for awhile as well :(
