    1080 drop for the blueys

    Heard a rumour today that the western side is getting a dose of prefeed tomorrow & Saturday , anyone else no of this ? are they going to use deer repellent ? .Chur.

    Good point never thought of that , could even be the odd one on the ground , mate had a block today & tomorrow so must still be open . be interesting to find out if they are using repellent which they should seen as how the area is a RHA & 1080 smashes fallow , its a wonder the deerstalker association haven't been making any noise .

    Pretty sure all the western blocks(black gully,whiskey etc.) aren't getting done. Even with deer repellent it'll still smash them I reckon. It'll be interesting to see what the bird life is like afterwards, saw 5 wood pigeons in one tree when I was in garden gully.

    If the spring growth is under way it may save a few deer as they are more likely to eat that than bait. Lets hope so .
