I’ve put a Tubliss set up on my WE450, it makes a massive difference. Once you get used to riding a bike off road, I’d get Tibliss if I was you.

We use 230s at work, unless you are a large man, it makes all the difference getting it lowered, forks then lowering kit then seat but stop when it’s low enough. It made a big difference some of the guys. Helps with being able to jump off to the side or forwards when things go sideways.
If the dog is running, there’s nothing to stop you just riding slowly so the dog can keep up without running out of puff.
