This is how the .223 rolls…
3 of us, 6 days mainly evenings.
    236 wallaby
    70 rabbits
    5 pigs
    3 deer
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

    I don't believe that.

Hah. They very seldom need a second shot once hit with the 74/80 grn Targex. I do miss the odd one - mostly steep down hill or running. The wind can be a bugger too if it gets up.
I guess I use about 120 shots for every 100 wallaby. Complete misses included.

Mmm,120 rounds for 100 hits ..wow. How many hits in full flight out of that 120 rounds? or were the majority sitting?

One in full flight coming down towards me at about 100. One half speed going up hill at same distance. All the rest still or slow hopping. All of my Wally hunting is glassing and shooting. Mostly prone or sitting over a rigid pack. Not much walking them up. So if you can shoot and your gun is well sighted in it’s not overly difficult.
