Use the Hornady 4DOF app with the drag data for Hornady bullets, rather than try fudge BC. BC is never "right".

There is so much noise in the system - are all inputs correct? Before trying to 'true' BC

- actually zeroed, with a large enough group for confidence
- velocity measured over a large enough sample size of shots to be meaningful
- scope height over bore actually correct
- environmentals?
- scope clicks

Edit: hmm the 4dof app only lists more recent and LR focused bullets so it's out of the question

You have probably covered this before so apologies if so - whats your rifle set up - certainly does the business!
