Hope everyone keeping hot barrels out there ,

Just wondering if anyone had any luck with the game cameras that send images straight to your phone or email ?

Yep, a UOVision UM595 from AJ Productions. Works pretty good if reception is average to good.

A good friend uses Spypoint cams with good results. There is a cost but he's set a limit of 100 pics a month at a capped rate. Theres 3 of us who get sent the pics as they happen. Quite neat getting a pic at ten o'clock at night of big Whitetail bucks doing there thing. Also kiwis, possums, cats and penguins.

Look at the Trail Cam Thread on here
You have to have Vodafone or 2 degree reception or moderate strength
Use GPRS - NOT - PXT-ing - cost 2 cents per pic instead of 50 cents

So you have a prepaid Sim and top up and use DATA only
Txt to Cam to change modes etc cost 20 cents and another 20 cents when it replies "command completed"
You do not need to command code via txt - but it is handy if a Storm comes in and its better to pay 80cents to turn it off and back on day or so later than have it sending heaps of photos for nothing

Hi folks - Come and check out our 4G Trail Camera from WiseEye Technology, we believe this is the best and most affordable 4G trail camera in New Zealand. And yes we have tested against the competition and there is no comparison! https://trailtech.nz With local NZ support we go above and beyond any service you'd get from a brick and mortar purchase.
