All his ppu (highland brass) I though would have been good brass aswell once fired.I found it to be excellent brass for reloading in my 243.I though someone would have bought it straight away

Therein lies the difference between " shameless plug" and the more common " subtle plug"
Buy about five packets of ammo, spend the next two weeks shooting at targets/rocks at various ranges. You will learn a heap about you and your rifle. After this you will know how far and how well you can shoot the rifle.

Don't want to hijack Dawgs thread but if I supplied the brass how much for 20 rounds? I got heaps of brass:ORLY:
I know zip about reloading and have no intention to learn.
yea i'm a killer for saying up front:innocent:
Not too sure about all this techo stuff with Ammo, All I know is I use this PPU ammo in my 7m08 and my .243 and have been knocking over animals from 20m to 400m.
The cheapest part of hunting is the ammo - grab a few packets of what your happy to pay for and wham a few rounds out to a mix of ranges to get use to how it and you shoot....... Happy Hunting & Hot Barrels :D
