Ah man, your just showing off now
So guys, first of all is, I am in no way trying to show off, it is just those things that happen when you are out there having a bit of peace of mind, in the right place in the right time.
I am fortunate to live in a place full of oportunities and sometimes I get luck too.
I went for a walk to recover a spiker head(from my last hunt) that I left behind, I found and got it. On my way back I spot couple young animal, a bind and this buck. I had a go from around 150-200 meter and I just shot above the hind head(boomer), so bothe "bolt" run up hill towards me, what a mistake, I was "kind of" waiting for them and with no surprises they came out from behind a bush. "Boom" from around 25 meters and "again" I misty the head shot, but NO WAY I would go back without a deer from this point. The buck stand still looking around like "what is happening? Where this noise is comng from?" "BOOM" again, dead on its track.
Got back home and this morning I need to turn the landlord freezer on.
Good times, don't waist a chance to take your rifle for a walk, you never know what can happen.
All the best guys and go there, do it, have fun and be safe.
aim for the neck, 30 plus inches of elevation error available if you give them a whistle so they look up at you.
