Thread: any1 own/owned a tikka t3?

I got a fully suppressed tikka T3 - its a good rifle in 7m/08 nice and light and easy to handle - I fitted a Zeiss 3/9/40 scope to completed the package

In my Barry basic opinion stay away from cheaper rifles - wheatherbys, Howas, Nikko sterlings & marlins - value for money and like the old mark 5 Cortina stick with a Tikka or Remington model 7 or model 700 sps. - go bare rifle and save some $$ for a decent scope & rings - you should be able to get a new tikka for $1200.

I saw a 2nd hand Model 7 with scope at H&F taupo for $900 in 308 on the weekend and they got two blued Remington model 700s with a "no name" scope in .270 for $700
