Anyone up for a Tahr Hunt this Weekend up the Rangitata

Am thinking of heading up the Rangitata this weekend for a wee wander. Have a 4wd and the river looks low. So really have the whole place to explore. Have been here a few times before and shot a few Tahr. If anyone would like to tag along will be leaving Christchurch early Morning tomorrow. Chip in for fuel or better yet flick a few dollars to the Tahr Foundation and we will call it even. Pm me.
    Cheers

Save our Tahr. They belong in the southern alps.

on that note perhaps Eugenie could help indorse larger magazine capacity for semi auto,s to help better control these herds

No photos the weather was a bit hit and miss windy as anything. Saw a few animals a bunch of young missed a nanny and the shot revealed a bunch of animals under cover. Missed a better Bull that paused at just shy of 300 but the only causality was my eyebrow haha. Then went for a walk up another local spot today. Saw a few deer and a few Tahr outside of the block boundaries unfortunately. Good to see animals anyway.
