Thread: Best Trophy’s from previous roars

Some old sika trophies, a 10 pointer from Tussock Hut area 1973, an 8 pointer from Mangatanoika 1986, a mid Feb 8 pointer from Kiamanawa 1990, A cracker from a special place 1997.

Hell yeh starting to look old judging by these pictures.

I was privileged to be with my brother when he shot this nice stag during the 2019 roar in the Ruahines, and later the same day i managed to sneak in on this old beast .

He is probably the oldest stag i have ever shot by the look of him , only a 6 pointer but a trophy to me and a very memerable day.

Thats epic! That second one looks very old indeed. Northern or Southern Ruahines?

Hey hebe, yeah he had seen better days alright we recon he would have to be around 10yrs old or there about.
Even the meat had a different color to normal i got it all including the backsteaks made into sausages and mince, but they are not the same taste as other animals done the same.
