    Big Jap

    On the wk end i was doing some classic unpaid guiding for a keen young fella who wanted to shoot his first jap stag.
    No pressure, just an 8pta he reckoned ! yea right.
    Well you wouldnt read about it, 10 min from camp and we were watching 5 hinds and 5 min later this stag joined them.
    I think he was ready to start sending 140gr Accu-Bonds from the 708 over its way when i said he was to use the 338FX,
    Ranged at 625yds, i did the calcs and started filming. KA BOOOOOM, man its noisy when your not behind the shooter and flop. He was one happy chappy.
    Even as we stumbled into camp at midnight after packing it out he still had a grin from ear -ear

    Im not sure why i looked grumpy in the pix coz i swear i was rapt for him. Maybe i was thinking about how much it weighed
