Back in the day I wandered around it a bit. Im not certain I was ever invited though

Nice little creek clearings. Some really nice bush opposite the hut and down the creek a bit (that’s the bush in the pic on the helisika site. True left of the creek. The clearing up stream on the true right in the same pic is the hut clearing). Roar in there quite well.
Plenty of deer up towards Te Matai. My intitials are carved into a tree on the top. Along with many others.

You will enjoy it. It used to be pretty much shut up for guided parties.
