Awesome  :)
Damm my internet struggles with video.I shot my first buffalo with a bow in 1978. The shop in Darwin that sold bow hunting gear said I was the first to do it. I stalked to 30 yds of a group of cows and yearlings picked a good eater and put a arrow in just behind its shoulder with a Jennings sidekick 70LB ,cedar shaft and Bodkin head. There was allmost no reaction from the buff to the hit, but a mate saw the shot from about 100 yds behind me yelled out "You got him" and ran towards us and the herd bolted. I put 3 more arrows into it but the first shot was the killer. My wife to be, was ready with a 44 mag as backup if needed but it all went well and the meat was GOOD!

I regret not shooting this white one, the white horns would have been good in the man cave.

That's a long time ago John? B&w photos! 70s?
Yes a very long time ago. shooting 60 + Buffalo with a 44 mag 12 ga or 45-70 started my love affair with big bullets. I only shot 2 with the bow and 1 very large scrub bull, scary stuff on your own and no back up. Pigs and Roo's more fun and safer.
Double rifle would be good! It's pretty open country if some thing gets angry at being shot at, and a bow has its limitations. Great to have done it?
The same bow and rifle today, they havent changed as much as Pam and I.

This one gave me the most trouble. I was on my own and nobody knew where I was. At times he stalked me in the 6' spear grass a little pissed off I made him carry a couple of 44 slugs. He charged twice and was turned with non fatal shots to the neck. The third attack he was much weaker and I popped him in the head at 10 ft. Not the largest horns I shot but the only ones that hang in the man cave.
