Hey @jaacko we do plenty of private land hunts through the North Taranaki Deerstalkers club, people tend to keep decent Naki public spots to themselves though as they are usually limited or best for one hunting group at a time.

If you send me a message, I'll point you in the right direction to a public land spot with deer if you can hack the walk. Other than that pick a doc block and explore, you'll likely find there's a few species about that aren't listed on the doc sites.
