Good stuff JoshChiv
So have you guys worked out what to allow for the Electrromagnetic effect the overhead high voltage lines have on your projectiles .Faradays right hand law states that if you wrap your right hand round a cable with your thumb pointing in the direction of current flow your fingers will indicate the direction of the circular Electromagnetic field generated .So assuming the current is flowing down range the field will be clockwise as you look downrange .Therefore if you are shooting off the left hand stand your projectiles will be pulled high and left ,If shooting off right hand stand they will be pushed low and right ;):D:thumbsup::wtfsmilie: Its pissing down here and I have nothing better to do .Sad I know
Haha didn't think too much about the power lines but they would have no effect on the projectile itself
Hi JoshChiv,
Where is the range you are shooting on in the Bay?
Cheers
J
Where's the range mate?
hey this is the pistol shooting club range out behind Pan Pac. It's a 200m range as well which is great
Choice pics:thumbsup:
Hi Joshchiv. Do you have to be a member of the pistol club to shoot there? Or is there someone to contact for permission? Cheers Jon
No you don't have to be a member, but it is a private range, you will have to get in contact with a person who works at panpac, as this is the way you get access to the range
Looks like a choice set up there JoshChiv.
Cheers josh i know a few people out there so hopefully get to have a play
