    Chamois head skins

    A question when is the best time to take a head skin summer or winter ? . And does it need to be a buck ?

    depends if you want a summer or winter headskin???!!!


    I think a nanny skin is basically the same, might have slightly different glands at the back there

    may to end of june for winter
    i like the early march coats "salt & pepper" styles

    I like february skins for summer capes , june best for winter. bucks have a preorbital gland which is more pronounced during the rut

    Been googling images and I think it's the summer cape that I'd like to get .
